The chlorine photometer PMCL is a 2-wavelength UV/VIS photometer for the analysis of chlorine in fume gases.
The influence of surrounding light on the measuring result is minimized by a modulation technique.
The measuring procedure with two wavelengths compensates for aging of the lamp and the influence of
deposits and particles in the measuring gas resulting in precise measuring results.
Additionally, changes of the lamp spectrum with lifetime are compensated numerically.
The photometer can be calibrated with respect to a reference sample using the build-in calibration cuvette.
