The measuring principle is based on the different UV absorption of the gases. The device consists of an UV light source, the gas measuring cell, the UV/VIS spectrometer and the computer. The gas analyzer can be flexibly used because of the light guide con-nections between light source, measuring cell and spectrometer. The very robust spectrometer does not have any moving parts and is embedded in a stable aluminium diecast housing.
