About
us:
Since 1981 our company
has been producing high-quality UV-measuring devices for applications
such as lamp control, measurement of UV-parts in daylight and sun tanning
equipment. Quality and service combined with high professional consultating
and application engineering results in a continuously increasing demand
for our products. Our competence and increasing range of products are
appreciated by a growing number of customers in a global market. In addition,
demand for services such as calibration, expert opinion, testing and consulting
continue to grow. In 1986 Dr. Groebel UV-Elektronik GmbH expanded capacities
to support business growth by moving to larger facilities in the historic
city of Ettlingen in southern Germany.
Our business connections have been expanded from Europe to America, Asia,
New Zealand and Australia.
Following our baseline
of UV-measuring devices ( radiometers , dosemeters
) a new product line of spectral based instruments (spectrometers
) and devices for visible radiation ( photometers
, colormeters) have been developed, produced and sold. In addition
special light-sources, stabilized light-sources and
spot-sources have been introduced to the market. Curing lamps from 100
Watt to the Kilowatt range are available.
Application software
for our spectrometers has been developed. Software packages allowing data
manipulation, determination of colour co-ordinates, colour temperature,
colour rendering indices as well as photo-biological weighting have been
made available. Extending spectral range to infra-red allowed us to build
process photometers for high temperature moisture determination (p.e.
in stack gas). The possibilities for development are still far beyond
the horizon! Other applications for photometers
are available.

Our production line including
modern computer controlled lathe and milling machines allowing us to produce
high quality precision parts in the shortest time. Tight time schedules
